ABOUT US

DICF - Who we are:

Members of Dalian International Christian Fellowship (DICF) [from more than 30 countries] are ordinary people living in and around Dalian who have discovered that the best name in all the world is Jesus Christ. We freely and willingly say that to love Him is to obey Him and follow His direction for our lives. This relationship with Jesus Christ is the foundation of all we see and believe as a Fellowship.

We believe in Jesus Christ, God the Son, who rose from the dead and is alive today and is loved by many in Dalian. At DICF we aim at glorifying Jesus Christ through our praise and worship; discipleship training and ourtreach programs. Whether it is on our own, in our homes together or in our times in the House of Praise Sanctuary, we show our love for God through our words, actions and lifestyle.

DICF intends to share the good news of Jesus Christ to the Nations. This is expressed by the welcome we give to those in Dalian City who have come from the nations of the world to this city. We seek to give those new to Dalian a ‘family in a foreign country’ by opening our homes, sharing our food and generally giving people a warm welcome. Many discover that where God’s people are it really is "home from home".

We see every member of DICF as ambassadors of Jesus Christ representing Him by living for Him in their homes, workplaces, schools and neighbourhoods. We believe that His name needs to be widely made known, that the fragrance and life of Jesus Christ will spread into every life, home and streets in Dalian and beyond and many will come to know Him in their lives.

DICF - Our Vision:

The vision of DICF is to underpin the following three core values in all our fellowship meetings, discipleship and outreach activities.

Worship: (John 4:23)
Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

Discipleship: (Matthew 28:18-20)
Then Jesus came to them and said, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

Outreach: (Mark 16:15)
He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation ..."

DICF - Mission Statement:

To advance the Christian Faith through Outreach, Discipleship, Praise and Worship in our homes, work places and communities of foreign passport holders within Dalian city and beyond.

DICF - What we believe:

God created all people to enjoy everlasting life in a fantastic relationship with Him. But when we live our lives our own way rather than His way, we reject His love and ruin that relationship. We might try all kinds of ways of making sense of our lives such as being a good person, doing good to others, following all sorts of faith, no faith or even going to church. But none of these things can get us back to that place of a real relationship with God.

What we’re powerless to do for ourselves, God did by sending His Son. Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the price for all those times we’ve rejected God’s love. Jesus’ death shows us how much God loves us and wants to restore our relationship with Him. But Jesus didn’t stay dead! He rose from the dead, beating all those things that could possibly keep us from living with Him throughout eternity. After he ascended to heaven he sent the Holy Spirit to enable us to live our lives full of Him and His power. He calls us to make His name known and join Him in fulfilling His amazing plan and purpose through His body the Church.

We believe you’ll experience the presence of God and you’ll find plenty of people willing to answer your questions about the BIBLE, the HOLY SPIRIT, the APOSTLES, WATER BAPTISM, KINGDOM OF GOD, TITHES & OFFERING, RESTORATION, PRAYERS, HEALING, WORSHIP, MISSIONS, CHRISTIAN EDUCATION, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, the POOR and the NEEDY, Dissaster Relief victims.

At DICF we make Jesus Christ welcome throughout the communities of Dalian city through what we say and what we do. We long to see people experiencing the life-changing love and power of Jesus Christ on every street, in every neighbourhood and in every community. Jesus tells us as His people to share the DICF vision with others. Throughtout the week we have various types of fellowship activities reaching out to Children, mothers, students, youths, families, men, women, singles, expats, tourists, business executives, middle and high school pupils, university undergraduates and postgraduates, folks in residential homes, prisoners, the sick in hospitals, orphans in orphanages, mission fields around the globe, christian education, distribution of online christian resources, meeting the needs of the poor and needy, the homeless, dissaster relief for innocent victims, scholarships for vulnerable and deprived students, leadership development through hands-on training and formal lectures at Dalian International University.
